Paystubs and W-2 forms
Overview
Ramp does not provide employee paystubs, W-2s, or W-4 forms, even if your company uses Ramp for cards, reimbursements, or bill payments. For these documents, contact your employer's payroll provider or HR team.
The tax document features in Ramp — such as 1099 filing and W-9 collection — do not include employee payroll forms.
Payroll-related activity in Ramp
Your company may use payroll to settle reimbursements or card repayments outside of Ramp. When that happens, you may see related activity in Ramp:
- Reimbursements paid outside Ramp show a Paid Manually status. This means your company handled the payment off-platform. Ramp does not generate a paystub or W-2 for it. For details on reimbursement timing and status, see Submitting reimbursements.
- Card repayments settled outside Ramp use the Repay off Ramp flow and the Mark as repaid action. For details, see Employee repayments.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Ramp show a reimbursement as paid manually?
Paid Manually means your company paid the reimbursement outside of Ramp — for example, through payroll, by check, or through another internal process. Ramp records this status for tracking, but payroll documents come from your employer's payroll provider, not from Ramp.
Where do I get a W-4 form?
Contact your employer's payroll provider or HR team. Ramp does not provide W-4 forms.
